- Barry Freeman Review added: 2018.10.18★ ★ ★ ★ ★What a place. The beers are amazing and the bar staff have fantastic beer knowledge. It's no wonder they were CAMRA National Pub of the Year finalists. The manager Jo knows practically everything there is to know about beer and is more than happy to stop and have a chat and recommend beers to suit your taste. If you like beer and find yourself in Wigan it would be criminal to not visit here. Right underneath the railway arches so very easy to find. The pork pies and scotch eggs are the bees knees too!! Great railway themed decor and a fantastic atmosphere. Outside seating for the sunny days and dog friendly. It's my new second home.
